In addition to the dark fruits and savory perfect balance thing it has going, there is a warm nutty quality around the edges, that tastes of roasted sunflower seeds. Long finish with just enough acid to leave your mouth feeling like it needs another sip. Quick!

September 14, 2011 - A beautifully mature wine, this is why people should really buy and age Cru Beaujolais. This wine is balanced, smooth, silky but not heavy, (no sign of over ripe grapes whatsoever but rather that sweetness that can only occasionally be found in old vine grapes). Tasted ever bit as nice the second night.
