  February 16, 2016 - A little extra time in the bottle produced a rich, smooth vibrant red. Wish I had the rest of that case!

  June 20, 2010 - A nice wine and and excellent food companion to grilled steaks or similar food. Very fruit forward but not showing any of the "sweetness" found in many other Mclaren Vale wines. Lots of spice, dark berries (surprise), and an acidity penetrating the palate. The latter to such an extent that the wine became a bit edgy. At 10 Euros this might be a bit too expensive.

  February 18, 2010 - This is a very decent shiraz, not top quality, but certaintly not Yellow tail class. A bargain at 10 bucks. Cherry and a touch of plum on the palate. Fruit forward, modern style, but has just enough complexity and depth to make it work. Very good QPR.
