February 25, 2011 - Also want to add that the finish was quite noticeably tart and faded to a cantelope flavor. Really interesting bottle.

February 25, 2011 - Nice wine and a surprise after the Kim Crawford I had form the prior year had gone over the cliff. Apricot and peach as I recall form its release. However, there is now a very interesting dominant baked bread component, similar to a Charles Heidsieck champagne I had a couple months ago. Effervescent with a medium finish that had some lingering fruit. It is truly an excellent wine now and showing some real character, the sort of thing we wine nuts look for. I might score it higher even but this is a bottle that will depend on the context of the consumption and I wonder what the variation is over the release.

August 31, 2010 - nice brightness fruit on the nose, with some green onion as well. Sweet melon. Taste is very crisp and dry, nice acidity. Pretty good value.

July 2, 2010 - Had with sockeye salmon. Straw color; melon and white grapejuice on the nose; grassy melon lingers on the tongue. Good pairing.

May 6, 2010 - This bottle wasn't as good as the others I had had, but it was fine with the grilled halibut. A combo of grassiness and citrus on the nose and palate. I'll try the new vintage.
