December 14, 2009 - Popped this to celebrate the purchase of our new home. Unfortunately the bottle was over the hill. Nose was all funk with a little layer of rather pretty red fruit left. Palate was still fresh, still drinkable - but it was more or less an empty shell of bright acid and softened tannins. Whatever fruit had long gone, just leaving a perfumy linger suggesting some red fruit and flowers. No finish to speak off save for a brambly, slightly stemmy aftertaste. Sad :(
