  October 22, 2017 - I dont understand why people dis this wine. I think it was decent. Drank a magnum I had stashed. The tannins were definitely gone, some dark fruit still remains.

  April 8, 2016 - Classic cab, but a bit tired with muted fruit. Some soft tannins and body. Needed quite a bit of air to lose harsh notes.

  March 14, 2011 - Auction bottle from well stored cellar. 1 hr decant. Classic Napa cab flavors of dark fruits, plum, cassis, and moderate oak. Tannins are present but fine and chalky. Finishes clean with just enough acid. A well made bottle of wine drinking well now. I'm not sure why other reviewers thought so poorly of this wine.

  October 20, 2006 - Absolutely terrible. Could not drink it. Amazingly bad for the Staglin family.

  May 1, 2006 - Absolutely awful. Devoid of fruit, but lots of oak and tannin. Staglin should have been embarrassed to put a $50 pricetag on this wine. This is the 3rd bottle I've had. They all sucked.
