August 4, 2011 - I feel it is at its peak now as the recent bottles I've had were outstanding bordering on excellent but started to fade and grow light after a few hours. I put the rest under a vacuum seal and the next day it was very much the same. Time to drink up.

December 31, 2008 - I tasted this Cabernet-Franc before decanting and it had some fruit notes hidden behind lots of tannins. After a 4 hour decant this wine REALLY opened up and the strawberry and raspberry fruit flavors started to shine. The finish was at least 30 seconds. This is my wife's favorite bottle of wine and one of my top ones as well.
