May 11, 2019 - Cork broke when I was removing it. Filtered wine through a coffee filter. First sips seemed thin and uneven. After 20 minutes or so the flavor opened up and all who had a glass commented how good it was. Glad I gave it a chance.

January 16, 2013 - This wine has a bit of everything - blackcurrant, spice and a bit of cinnamon. Has California written all over. Color is not deep, rather bright like Zinfandel (which I was told it has some), and the body is medium to full. Legs were not too impressive. What I like about this wine is the finishing, very nice spice followed by a hint of menthol, which lasted for fairly long. It is a decent wine nevertheless and I am sure female drinkers may appreciate more than I do.
