June 25, 2009 - Poulleau Pere & Fils is such a new domaine and it was recommended by the shop while I'm looking for the good value Corton-Charlemagne. ( Maybe this 2006 CC is not EZ to find. )

Very nice well-made wine, details, dimensions and absolutely a charming one !!!

I can feel the oaky scent in Bordeaux style at first nose then a tropical fruit shows up, mainly pineapple, hints of white/yellow flowers and followed by the terroir. Very nice moves, nice charming, passion-expressed, seductive in a delicate way.

Good structure, beautiful texture, hints of sweetness, more easy to reach than 2006 BDM's Corton-Charlemagne and very delicious at this moment,

Aftertaste is very tempting, fairly long, tempting finished too.

    Drink now - 2021.................93+/100....................

ps. Days gone by....within, it's remaining....
