November 1, 2015 - delicious cherry and dark berry flavors that seem to concentrated and muddy as it got air. Started about a 93 and finished more like a 90-91
I have always been confused by this wine or more precisely feel this wine was confused about what it wanted to be. This was the best of a half case -

January 21, 2012 - Dark violet, semi opaque, with scents of lush purple fruit and baking spices, maybe a hint of eucalyptus. All the components are there -- big, rich and full of blackberry fruits, a little spicy, with drying tannin and decent acidity -- but it was a bit disjointed. Not a truly harmonious combination.

November 26, 2011 - Fantastic. Drank w/ friends this afternoon. Did not make detailed notes, but found this stellar blend to have a rich nose, impeccable balance, and a nice grip at the end. 14.5% and was not hot at all. I thought the grenache was dominant. Finish seemed just a bit short, but then the wine was still evolving (and warming) when we finished it. This is well made. Could easily go another 3 years.

August 26, 2011 - Mmm cherries. Much more balanced and enjoyable but in some ways more unidimensional than last time

February 7, 2010 - popped and poured for the Superbowl.
this is supposed to be an equal blend of old vine Cabernet Sauvingon, Grenache, Carignane made by sommelier turned winemaker Emmanuel Kemiji
EYE:violet color to the rim
NOSE:sandlewood at first then cedar and dark fruits (but later my wife felt it was blueberry) and vanilla (oak)
TONGUE:cassis with a bit of cherry and more acidity than tannin on the finish that is medium to long
It seemed to be more of a cab than anything and did not speak to me of Priorat but is a solid wine.
I retasted some over the next 2 nights and found it held well but seemed to morph to a theoretical blend of pinot and cab
I think this made by very high quality grapes that are fighting for center stage lacking the harmony I would want
