July 30, 2023 - Drinking really well. Some sweet earth, truffle and leather development. The palate has notes of chocolate and tart cherry. It is nicely balanced and has fresh minerally acidity at the finish. keeps getting better and better in the glass.

January 17, 2021 - My last of 8, and still drinking very well. dark and deep, tannins resolved, good acid structure. An easy match with Italian sausages/peppers/onions

August 12, 2012 - Deliciously fruity but not just a pretty face. Doesn't need food but complements grilled food.

December 8, 2009 - Deep and dark with excellent acid spine. slight cough mediine on opening. Good wine that needs a year or two to calm down.
