July 17, 2020 - Opened and poured a glass. A bit of effervescence upon opening, that blew off. Copious wild and dark fruits. After a couple days under vac-u-vin, this has really fleshed out into a voluptuous, full bodied brambly monster. Superb for 13 years old.Tons of blacks and purples.

June 20, 2013 - Pop n pour, a decant would have helped, as it was a bit high toned right out of the gate. But thereafter a really nice zin with some age. Raspberry and a little raisin on the nose, good fruit and some bramble on the pallet. Outside of Ridge I think Novy's Zins hold up best, and retain the Zin character more than Ridge does.

March 31, 2011 - Sorry to say this is my last bottle of this wine, I like my zin young but this one just keeps getting better with age, very balanced and smooth, blueberry, pepper, and creamy.
