July 8, 2017 - Ruby. Open knit, perfumed nose of classic Barolo notes: sweet cherry, dried rose, and sappy balsam. Austere as Rinaldi tries so hard to be, yet with age supple with softened tannins. This improved remarkably over a three-hour decant.
