July 18, 2020 - Served to me with dinner at a friend's house. There was a possibility that this might have been kept too long. But whilst it was fully mature, there was still plenty of good dark berry and cherry fruit, accompanied by plenty of earthiness and chocolate, combining to give a smooth, rounded taste. Very enjoyable.

October 27, 2010 - VinItaly Philadelphia (Union League, Philadelphia): nice fruit profile. cherry and black pepper.

August 3, 2010 - Dark ruby color, with a nose of predominately steel wool over top of dark berry compote. Tastes of blackberry and metal, with a somewhat lengthy dark plum finish. Very interesting wine.
