Community Tasting Notes 4

June 27, 2014 - Black cherries, mints, caramel, and violets in the nose, with faint barnyard initially; complex and fruity with black berries and cherries, dark chocolate, and exotic spices on the palate; long finish with various berries and juicy peppers plus some mild spices; overall, 90-91 points.

September 10, 2013 - Amazing wine for the price. I bought a case a week after tasting this.

December 18, 2012 - Had very good impression of the wine during Carrefour wine fair and bought 10 bottles. Opened one bottle today and decant for about 40 minutes. Nice nose with vanilla, earthy and burning sugar. Body is medium with good balance of acidity and tannins. Starts with some bitterness and pencil. Good lasting with dry finish. However, it is below what I expected from wine tasting fair. Need some sweet and fruity notes.

July 24, 2010 - Decanted for about 90 minutes. Very good young bordeaux. Strong essence of strawberry, plum, cassis. Nice young tannins. Easily drinkable at this early stage. May not really develop munch with more cellaring though.
