May 9, 2021 - Secondary and tertiary aromas like leather and tobacco dominate at this stage, I had to concentrate to smell a hint of dark cherries and some herbs. Full-bodied, tannins mostly resolved. Finish long and pleasant.

May 20, 2019 - Notes from memory. Drinking well still. Nicely resolved--acids, tannins and fruit all in balance. Lovely pronounced bouquet, good medium plus weight in the mouth. Excellent with grilled flank steak and asparagus.

August 21, 2015 - Really in a nice place right now. Still not fully mature perhaps but I don't know that it gets much better without the fruit fading a bit. Purple/ruby in color. Beautiful nose of black cherries, black raspberries, leather and earth. Deep. On the palate, great, easy drinking texture. Lots of black raspberry and cherry fruit but also nice earthiness. A bit of complexity. For $25 on release, this is great value. No hurry.
