June 4, 2020 - This tempranillo has aged pretty well, maybe a little to long. Not bad at all but not outstanding. Very drinkable after an hour in the glass.

October 18, 2010 - Not at all like a rioja. Too dark and heavy. I bought several and was not sure what to do with them, but I had one tonight with a chicken vindaloo and it held up okay, so I think spicy foods are the answer for this one. Not one to drink by itself. Just not good enough.

May 3, 2010 - Light purple on rim. Alcohol on nose initially which blew off. Strawberry and sweet spice on nose and pallete. A bit light and hollow in the middle which a touch of alcohol burn at end along with a dusty mouthfeel. Okay - midweek quaffer at best.

February 9, 2010 - A very nicely bottled, mellow tempranillo

December 19, 2009 - Nice rich ruby color. Aromas of woody spice, black raspberry and ripe strawberry. Flavors of the same with deep spicy vanilla oak notes, musty wood, and very subtle hints of cherry cola. Slight dill and bay leaf on the mid palate, with lingering of the deep fruit and hints of caramelized protein and roasted root vegetables. Classic old world Spanish red.
