December 3, 2009 - Medium gold in the glass, this Chardonnay is taking on some nice secondary flavors, but still tastes pretty fresh and young. The nose is dominated by toasted cereal with a little high toned mineral metallic nuance. Medium bodied with subdued tangy white fruit on the palate. Pretty good. Curious whether this will just end up overly oaky or blossom into something more; last bottle though.

June 27, 2009 - Sonoma-Napa Trip Day 2 and 3; 6/27/2009-6/28/2009 (Sonoma): Light colored. More complex nose than the 2007 tasted along side. Toasty oak, minerals. More subdued pear and apple fruit. Nice. Still fresh and light.
