April 18, 2013 - Good brambly red fruit on day 1. No sweetness, but that touch of funk that I love from Santa Ynez. Nothing near Walla Walla's "the rocks" area, but good. A bit high on the acidity, which caused me to cut my tasting a bit short. 2 days in sealed 375ml and this had turned into a porty mess on day 3. Had a glass and dumped the rest.

June 22, 2011 - Dark fruit, blackberry and smoky/ earthy aroma. More dark fruit / blueberry and white pepper and a hint of gram cracker on the palate. Balanced, medium body with a pleasant finish.
