October 25, 2011 - nice bit of spice balancing it out. Actually left half a bottle for day two thiniking it would get better, but it fell apart. Best after an hour.

December 2, 2010 - The Casillero del Diablo Reserve is a ruby wine with a medium body. The nose has black currant, mocha, tar and leather. Tastes of black currant and black raspberry in the mouth with a strong dose of acidity. The tannins are still fierce and mouth-coating at this point. The finish is just overwhelmed by the tannins present in the wine at this point.

May 19, 2010 - Currant and coffee, but not very memorable
