July 17, 2022 - Heading downhill. Dark red with fading at the rim. Pleasant, red-fruited nose. Cherries and blueberries on the palate. Bit hot (14.3% ABV). Soft tannins, decent acidity and balance. Finishes long and graceful but drying on the palate. I'd drink up.

September 26, 2021 - Black cherry, earth, deep and dark, fully integrated tannins, little shot of brightness at the end... fantastic, delicious.

April 3, 2021 - Delicious. Well balanced. Went well with food, and went great with our Seder.

    -opaque inky dark purple-black
    -jammy dark berry
-med acidity, med+ weight unctuous dark berry mineral slightly medicinal licorice bitter but long finish with med- tannins
-this is huge but retains good balance, starting to mature though not quite as good as a bottle 3 years ago

October 23, 2018 - PnP this 10 yr old Syrah.
Dark black fruits, including plum and black cherry, with smoke, olive paste, and moist soil.
Full in body, clocking in at 14.1% abv, with nice finely-grained tannins and fairly brisk acidity for a wine of this power.
Delicious yet restrained, drink this wine now through 2022+.
