March 5, 2017 - Better than the last bottle. Vanilla, red currant, pepper. Went well with balsamic rub grilled strip steak. Probably at peak

November 12, 2016 - A more modern style of Rioja, with big fruit and somewhat submerged tannins. The fruit is beginning to hit some raisiny notes, indicating it won't keep like a more traditional Gran Reserva. Well made, overall, but not a keeper. To me, lacks subtlety.

November 11, 2016 - Went well with rib roast. Tobacco, leather dark fruits. While it improved in the bottle over 2 hours it is nearing its end.

October 29, 2016 - Great rioja with a subtle vanilla note. Past its prime so should drink now

June 11, 2016 - Cork problem; was drinkable, but disappointed with result
