Community Tasting Notes 1

April 5, 2010 - Odd one this. On day one it was undrinkable - alcohol nose, green and an over the top oaky creaminess. On the 2nd day the oak had mellowed a bit, but the green olive and paprica nose was odd. Third day and cassis appeared from nowhere, the wine was well balanced and very enjoyable. Not sure if it was very young or if a fault had been cured by some air, but either way decant 24 hours in advance or leave for a few years.
