April 23, 2016 - Some fruit but astringent finish that made the wine unattractive, friend brought the bottle over, drank with swordfish and scallops, not the best accompaniments but whatever. Won't drink again as we won't find it.

January 2, 2012 - Apparently the wine smell likes my wife's grandads glass cabinet which I have no context or understanding for. But.. The wine has a lit and fruity body, with a swill it doesn't linger on the side of the glass. Aroma of Strawberries and oak, peppery and oaky taste. Not a lot of tongue drying going on so doubt there is a ton of tannin in the bottle. We drunk this over two days, 1st was painfully paired with a curry, second with a sausage pasta and that pair performance exquisitly.

March 4, 2011 - Earthy wine with fruity flavors. Smooth and easy to drink.

December 17, 2010 - SLO Tasting Group - Secret Santa 2010 Tasting: Decanted ~45 minutes. Seemed a bit closed, but others didn't mind. Not inky in appearance, but dark inky flavors on the palate, along with cherry skins and subtle minerality. Struck me as fairly elegant for a young Tuscan wine. Good, but needs time to blossom.
