April 13, 2018 - Eðalklúbbur, vínsmakk #4 vor 2018 (Hlíðarás 10): Ljós litur. Mjög mikil öldrunarmerki. Við giskuðum á nálægt 2000 og það reyndist ekki langt frá. Þetta var 1996. Í nefi byrjar vínið með mjög miklu fjósi, sem rýkur þó hratt úr því. Síðan kom ilmur sem minnti einna helst á súrhey. Þegar smakkað þá mætti manni sýruveggur. Einnig mátti finna eitthvað sem helst líktist súrkáli. Einhver skemmd greinilega. Vínið ónýtt. Áhugavert samt að smakka þetta.

September 10, 2008 - Decant and breathe 2+ hours. variety of flavors (apricot?) with licorace and dark chocolate at finish. Should remain drinkable for several more years.

great deal of sediment in the filter screen. Color- a cloudy dark purple. Nose gave little indication, fruit tasted old with some hints of spice, lacked body and complexity. Other thought that it drank O.k. but not worth the wait--very dissapointing.
