April 22, 2014 - Pas mal du tout : la robe est tuilée, mais la bouche reste fraîche et jeune. Très agréable, une certaine profondeur malgré une palette aromatique assez serrée qu'on aimerait voir s'ouvrir plus. Bon vin.

March 16, 2012 - Dark, clear. Dark fruit and swimming pool on the nose. Soft, smooth, strawberry, black current and white pepper, stones, nice integrated tannic finish, medium length. Shows a great sense of place.

December 6, 2010 - This is the first time a wine from this producer has convinced me (out of 5/6 bottles from various vintages). I don't know what the hell was wrong with the other bottles, as this was on the exciting, early edge of its drinking window. Veering kinda towards Bordeaux in its stiff upright manner, this shows nice cool fruit but great body, length, tannins and acidity. Matched fantastically well with steak (araignée) and chips with cabbage and mushrooms in truffle oil. As I get down the bottle I'm enjoying it more and more. All the time it continues to fill out and provide greater heights. Yum!
