  July 21, 2010 - This wine is huge and fun to drink. Not tiring in the least. It just has more of everything. Lots of earthy funk on the nose as well as some smoke. Fairly well balanced, but honestly this is a baby of a wine, with acidity, tannin, and fruit to go for years. Very long, but crisp, finish as the acidity keeps everything buoyant.

  February 12, 2010 - The nose on this is really big. I got black cherry and mushroom, a big shot of blackberry, a little asian spice, and a final dollop of vanilla. The palate was very rich and soft. It had blackberry and black cherry, forest floor, white pepper, and a fairly large oak finish.

  November 7, 2009 - TWC 2008 Dain Release Party (Tulsa, OK): Intensely floral and aromatic, the rich aromas exploded from the glass. Lots of berries and currants on the palate. Dense and compelling complexity. Hard to describe, easy to appreciate. Again, I can only imagine this in 3-4 years. I doubt mine will last.
