Community Tasting Notes 6

September 5, 2016 - Fantastic aged Gewurz - pure and powerful lychee on the nose and palate, medium plus body. Perhaps the only thing lacking was a hit of acid to carry it through, but this was entirely enjoyable and paired perfectly with a massaman curry.

March 28, 2010 - Pale gold. Nose reminded of a ZH gewurz-full od flowers, lychee, rose and spice. Taste was dry-a bit of a jolt given the nose-spice, a hint of acid on the end. I really liked for a drier version of Gewurz.

January 13, 2008 - Not very complex and lacking mineral notes on the nose. Uninteresting.

November 24, 2005 - Not decanted. Light-bodied wine that is light straw in color. On the nose, floral with a nice minerality. On the palate, pear and spice. Decent acidity in this wine, but the finish is a bit lacking in intensity, though lasting 15-20 seconds.

September 20, 2005 - Nicely spiced that went well with spicy peanut noodles with honey/soy glazed chicken breast and pickled red cabbage. Want more.
