March 7, 2012 - Hazy notes from 2 days ago, after decanting about 2 hours. Lovely nose on this wine, with a medium-full bodied palate with blackfruit, cedar and tobacco. Seems to be ready now, but should last for a while yet. Nice QPR Bordeaux (B+/A-).

June 18, 2011 - Had been warned it was passed its prime, but overall pretty darn tasty. Warm red fruit nose with some allspice and cigarbox. Still grippy tannins, tobaccco leaves, cedar, and blackcurrants. Really benefitted from being open a while -- final taste at the end of the night was by far the best!

April 27, 2001 - 1998 Vintage Bordeaux Tasting (Pleasant Hill, Ca.): Nice nose, like the Reignac but a little bigger.
