October 30, 2020 - Found this bottle somewhere and were surprised it was still good. May have lost some fruit but is still fruity, acidity good, sufficient body.

July 27, 2015 - Decanted for 30 minutes. Lost a little of the fruit on the nose, but gained smoke, earth and a little licorice. We liked it a good bit as we do most Catena offerings.

December 19, 2014 - Donated to holiday party. I found this drinkable, but certainly nothing to be excited about. Somewhat rough around the edges.

December 25, 2013 - Dark ruby-purple color. Dark fruit, boysenberry / blackberry. Medium palate with mild tannins, smooth now, the fruit is there but restrained and even a little bit faded, I think. The oak character has made its presence know now but that seems to be keeping with the character of this wine. It is striving for balance and just about makes it. The fruit is there but it seems to be on its way.
