January 18, 2014 - Un vin bien fruité et à l'acidité rafraîchissante. Aucun des excès souvent associés aux rouges australiens n'est présent ici. Le fruit est à l'avant-scène sans être confituré, le bois est discret. Aucune lourdeur ou sucrosité.
Si je résume mon weekend : Un bourgogne dilué et fade et un australien équilibré et fort bon. Les deux sensiblement le même prix.
Je crois que je vais devoir revoir certains de mes préjugés vinicoles... -

Good nose of sweet cherries and some vanilla. Hints of spice.
Soft, fruity and fresh. Warm and full bodied.some spice and minerals. Soft tannins. Still some years left. Really good non-typical Australian wine. -
