July 16, 2022 - This was drank as the 1st in a vertical of 04 Brunellos to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday (04 Fuligni, 04 Donatella Colombini, 04 Cassanova Di Neri Tenuta Nuova mag).
Brought to temp over 4 hours and opened up to sit in bottle for 3 hours - did not need decanting but I considered it. Reading the other reviews this was the one I was most worried about.
Out of the glass it was a little funky (classic old world funk that is - not off). No real bricking as it still held a nice deep colour. Lots of complexity in this one which (over about 30 mins) mellowed surprisingly into a very nice surprise. Short finish but the mix of fruits seemed multi dimensional in this compared to the others. My fave of the nite - very surprised.
