August 19, 2021 - I was nervous opening this. The reviews gave the imprecision that this wine peaked several years ago. I bought this and forgot about it ages ago. It’s still delicious. Lots of luscious dark fruits on the nose and palate. The nose also has notes of pepper. On the full bodied palate is sweet cherry, blackberry, raisins, prunes with some remaining acidity. There’s also a touch of pepper on the medium plus finish. If this is sitting in your cellar don’t hesitate to crack it open.

February 9, 2015 - Fruit bomb. Aged wonderfully, silty sediment. Decanted for one hour prior to drinking. Tons of berry jam, medium sweet, long lingering finish. Big nose, tons of pie filling and a touch of wood. Loved it.

August 20, 2014 - Patio Party Vino - August 2014: Not as smooth as some other Two Hands bottlings that I've enjoyed over the years, and granted it's at a lower price point than the Gardens' wines, but I was still a bit disappointed. Firm core of blueberry fruit and a tangy finish, but a bit harsh too. Nevertheless, some of the party guests thought it was better than the Carlisle that I pit against it.

(Two Hands Gnarly Dudes Barossa Valley Shiraz) COLOR-dark; NOSE-no notes; PALATE-lots of intense red fruit (cranberry, raspberry) on the mid-palate, almost candy-esque, but finishes quite dry and the alcohol is well contained; but there's a lot of fruit here; GV-No Score
