May 28, 2021 - This is a powerful wine. Even after a decade+ in bottle it needs some time to settle down. Pours a deep ruby in the glass.

Nose shows beautiful harmony with well integrated oak. Notes of stewed and ripe black cherry and blackberry. Loads of mint. Worn leather and chocolate and hints of tertiary earth.

Tannins are medium and fine. Juicy acidity. Plush and velvety mouthfeel.

Flavours can’t match the nose. Black plum dominant with stubble oak.

    Alcohol overwhelms the finish.

    Drink to 2030

January 22, 2020 - 2007 Two Hands Shiraz Tasting at Winetasters of Toronto Club (North York Memorial Hall): 2007 Two Hands Shiraz Harry & Edward's Garden was developing and filled with ripe dark fruit flavours. The Langhorne Creek Shiraz was clear medium ruby in colour with browning rim. The rather intense nose showed ripe blackberries, figs, liquorice and coffee. The mouthfeel was full-bodied, with medium level of balancing acidity and medium-high level of maturing tannin. The high alcohol was well-concealed by the intense flavours and ripe tannin. The long finish was packed with flavours of dried blackberries and prune.
The individual ranking was the fourth, and the table rank was the co-fifth out of eight Two Hands Shiraz wines in the tasting.

October 19, 2015 - Been saving this little gem for 5 years. Cork was a little dry but wine has aged well, a bit like me. Kept its mouthful of berries and notes of pepper. Absolutely delicious.

September 2, 2012 - Consumed alongside a 2005 vintage. Remarkably similar with tons of red and blue fruit. Sweet vanilla and a bit of heat (initially). Big, fruity style, if scoring 90-92.
