December 29, 2011 - Absolutely a great steak wine. Not so good as a stand alone...a bit harsh. Very good structure, medium finish. I like this wine, but I wish it was softer... perhaps a bit too much PV for my taste. I will let this sit for another year.

December 8, 2011 - Seemed to have even more fruit than I remember from previous bottles, but still nice balance. The tannins have probably settled down since then.
