December 8, 2017 - Medium body, with excellent structure. Ripe peach, ginger, and a hint of saffron. Not exceedingly complex, but very fresh and a joy to drink. Fantastic bargain at $24 for a half bottle when I bought it in '05. Has lots of life left to it.

June 22, 2008 - EWG Yu Jean Kang’s: Nice, light yellow, fresh peach and beautiful flowery notes; not rich at all, not even that sweet; very pure, but did not seem mcuh dif. from an Auslese. Good, but where’s the beef? Good--but maybe better on another day.

February 2, 2008 - Mostly unformed nose of smoky, stewed peaches and applesauce, with a subtle but definite hint of petrol. Not importantly long or huge in any respect, this is still a hedonistic delight in the mouth. The sweetness here is low enough to make this an excellent sweet aperitif as well as a dessert.

November 6, 2007 - I though this was simplistic Riesling, sweet but without a lot of depth. Ripe apple fruit, decent acidity. A few people thought it showed pretty well with the cake, a couple liked it less than I did. OK, but glad to have the cellar space back. B-

July 23, 2006 - German Riesling Offline (Counts Manor): this is like a GK auslese with a dash more acidity. still - IMO a great qpr, refreshing light desseet wine that stood up well to the crumble. red berries and ripe apples, YUMMY rather than complex
