May 4, 2020 - Yeah, there's not a lot of acidity left in this one, though to be honest, I don't know how much there was at release. A bit boozy, but that's what 14.7%+ will get you in a pinot, at release or later. All that said, the fruit is still fantastic. I wouldn't recommend holding this for a long time, it doesn't have the structure. But this bottle is really a pleasure right now.

June 30, 2017 - Wonderful! Maybe its lasted longer being in magnum form. Subtle and mild, but beautiful flavors coming through. Cherry and baking spices come to mind

May 10, 2017 - I am kind of neutral on this one. Red fruit on the nose, red fruit, baked apple and some spice on the palate along with the beginning of oxidation. Finish was decent. Enjoyable but time to drink up.

February 24, 2017 - PnP. Color still dark, with no signs of bricking. A little oaky / boozy on the nose, with hints of oxidization giving an overall impression of "old". But there's a hint of perfume in there that invites another sniff.

On the palate, about the same. Diminished fruit and acidity, and sort of a lazy cardboard oak that's too much a part of the profile. Drinkable for sure, but past its prime.

October 29, 2015 - Protruding cork, and soaked more than half way up. Corked.
