October 22, 2010 - 100% Verdejo from the 28 year old estate owned vineyards of the Pariente family grown in poor stony limestone soils. The grapes are macerated for 8-12 hours at low temperature and after pneumatic pressing the fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine remains on its lees till clarification. It is lightly filtrated before bottling in February. An aromatic wine that showcases the fuller side of Rueda region whites at 13% abv. Aromas and flavors of pineapple and guava are full and ripe. Crisp acidity is bright and refreshing. A perfect seafood wine or porch sipper on a hot day. I found this for $15 US retail at the Spanish Table in Berkeley.

December 29, 2009 - Fresh, crisp and fruity flavours. A bit like Sauvignon Blanc, but more floral and fruity. More complex. Very nice for a casual drink

November 7, 2009 - This had aromas of citrus, mineral and lemon to go with flavors of stone and grapefruit. Decent finish.

October 9, 2009 - Nice find! Zesty and crisp. Good nose and inviting color. Full of citrus and flowers. Rich yet not very deep. Perfect in a summer day. Great value at 10 e price point (vinis). Wow.
