January 20, 2024 - Vanilla dried apricot and a bit of white truffle on the nose, this grand wine has a sweet core that is wrapped with blueberry, strawberry, leather, smoke, spices, and other savory flavors.
Very gentleman-like and charming. A lot younger than its actual age. 14% in alcohol with fine-grained tannin. -

February 9, 2021 - Deep garnet red. After double decanting and another 2 hours slowly started to open up. World class complex flavors of strawberry raspberry spice clove a bit cinnamon and white truffle full bodied tannins for another or two decades and incredible vibrant and long

A was surprised by this - the vintage seems to have been overlooked by many. Lots of strawberry, rasberry and sweet spices on the nose. With air a lovely smoke note. Most closely resembled the 2000 in style, although I slightly preferred that vintage.
