September 2, 2013 - Not sure if this wine still needs time, but overly tanic, acidic and not particularly well balanced. One tasting note mentioned not decanting this wine. I'd agree. Much better right out of the bottle.

July 21, 2013 - This is a big, complex wine, dark and inky, with a herbaceous bouquet, and a long cinnamon and coffee finish. A perfect accompaniment to our roast beef dinner.
