  October 12, 2010 - I just don't like this style with the oak and the butter and the "yellow" and "green" notes and the bitterness on the finish. It was palate-fatigue-inducing. After a half a glass, I couldn't wait for the bottle to be over with. I'm not saying it was poorly made. It is just not for me.

  September 19, 2010 - A pleasant surprise, even though it has gotten some good press. Extremely well balanced, with hints of apple, pear, butter, and vanilla. NOT overly oaked the way many in this price range are, but not austere, either. Terrific bargain.
