  March 26, 2015 - Exactly what I'm looking for in a Ridge Zin. Currently at its peak. Perfect elegant balance between the rich zin/petite sirah classic fruit and secondaries combined with harmonious levels of tannin (with a little dusting at the very end) and just the right amount of acidity. Couldn't have asked for more

  October 24, 2014 - Past its prime. Drank with Indian food: rogan josh, chicken pasanda, salmon tandoori tikka kabob, and eggplant.

  August 18, 2014 - Drinking well now. Classic Ridge zin. Served with BBQ chicken & fresh-picked summer tomatoes with a chopped fresh herb topping.

  March 19, 2014 - Deep ruby color with slight haze. Aromatic roasted oak, fleshy, bramble, ravenous wild vines. Full bodied with powerful flavors of black licorice, black currant, smoke & cracked pepper on long, lingering finish. Drinking nice now, do not hold any longer. Paired well with goat cheese lasagna.

  January 7, 2014 - Drinking very well, classic old vine Nervo with deep flavors and a long finish thanks to that 7% petite sirah. This opened up over 2 hours or so, faster than some other old Ridges such as carignan. Nice, big nose that went well with spicy sausage and lentils.
