January 5, 2019 - At peak! Don't wait! Sweet cedar and dark fruit on the nose. Fantastic fruit in the mouth. Tannins are soft. By the second night this had faded a bit. Absolutely gorgeous now. I'm sad it's gone but at least I'm not under any pressure to finish more bottles since this was my last.

December 15, 2018 - Haut Medoc Birthday lunch (Bel & Brio, Barangaroo): Leather, blackcurrant, earthy, plumy, spicy, a little biscuit and spice. Juicy, savoury, graphite, black fruits, a little volatile acidity. Tannins near resolved. Medium plus length. Nice.

November 27, 2018 - Still going strong. No hurry.

November 14, 2018 - Coravin fun - Medoc check-in continues and ring in (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Leather, cedar, earthy, a little fresh coffee and cream, biscuit black plums and blackcurrant. On the palate there is an initial sourness to he fruit with similar flavours to the nose though the biscuit is more to the fore & the coffee more black and bitter. Broad across the mid palate, tannins are present but quite soft. Hmm.

October 27, 2018 - I just love this wine. It’s seems ageless. Great fruit an it’s ever changing as great wines should be. Resolved tannins and oak with good stony mineral.

Just a great bargain in this commune.
