  February 21, 2010 - Pale cherry red. Floral, cherry nose. Tart cherry palate. Light bodied, short finish. Lots of acidity, definitely a food wine. Went well with Asturian white bean stew.

  January 20, 2010 - Some light earth and faint cherry scents show up here, but the nose is dominated by a floral note that almost suggests "air freshener" to me. It starts out with a light approach and delivers some bright cherry flavors. The texture is light, but I wish the oak flavors were better integrated into the rest of the package.

  January 20, 2010 - Wine 202 at Red Slate (Red Slate Wine Co., Portland, OR): Lots of grape skins and stems on the nose along with rosemary and sour cherries in a weird combo that I don't find immediately appealing. Lots of acidity on the palate with almost no tannin, crazy. The fruit shows those stemy red grapes and cherries. Light bodied with a short finish. Odd balance with the lack of tannin, for this class to showcase acidity in red wine this worked perfect. Not something I would ever purchase for consumption at home.
