July 22, 2023 - Großartige leicht reduktive Nase, am Gaumen Spannung, Mineeralik, sehr lang, allees in perfekter Harmonie. Groß!

March 24, 2022 - Absolutely brilliant dry riesling that should improve from here. Starting to develop some caramelized undertones which offsets the acidity very well.

June 26, 2019 - Koehler-Ruprecht The best Dries and some add-ons; 6/23/2019-6/27/2019 (Neuhof am See): Semiblind. All wines decanted for a few hours. Gabriel Standard glas. Flights of three, All KS dry wines of Spätlese, Auslese, Auslese R und RR.
Nicely balanced. For a 2005 elegant and reluctant but in the finish heavanly concentrated and precise. 94

June 22, 2019 - Koehler-Ruprecht: Complete Saumagen vertical of all Spätlese and Auslese R and RR plus X (Neuhof am See, Dillingen, Germany): *** please understand this note in the context of the whole vertical tasting ***
    Glass: Gabriel Standard
    Tasted blind.
Pale golden yellow color. Mellow apple and pear in the nose.
Very uncomplicated, but lovely Saumagen: Pure elegance, good balance, fine, ripe fruit, combined with a good, ripe acidity, nice tension, long. Young, but lovely to drink now. 93-94+

June 2, 2018 - Tasting with some wine freaks (Private Location, Frankfurt, Germany): Normally I´m not the biggest fan of the 05 vintage because the wines tends to be a bit too broad imo. But Koehler-Ruprecht managed the heat very good here. This was a perfect bottle in such a great shape. The nose needs time and only slowly opens up but then delivering everything I missed the night before in my 04. White fruit, minerals, white flowers, a hint of yellow fruit, herbal components and a hint of almonds. On the palate powerful, but never missing the elegance. Creamy, riper fruit aromas than in the nose. Very precise and still super, super young. Wonderful showing but I also know about the big problems with corked bottles in this time period. Dominik Sona the new CEO said that they are much more behind it now.
