  May 31, 2015 - Interesting development over the past eight years. It's definitely not going to get better. As a single varietal it drinks well. Not going to knock anyone's socks off.

  June 1, 2013 - Still great, six years in. Great mouth-feel. Black fruit jams (and rosemary? I can't remember, but something herbaceous in a garriguey vein). Restrained in terms of oak and alcohol.

  November 10, 2012 - Carignan as a single varietal is definitely something different. Two other wines open beside it, so it had plenty of time to open up in the decanter. On the pnp it was tight and non expressive. After an hour the nose really started to open up with red fruit and a bit of toast (oak). On the palate, very soft red fruit with decent balance. Not flabby, but leaves a bit to be desired in terms of mouthfeel. Pretty sure I snagged this for cheap from the winery and am really glad I did.

  May 15, 2011 - This was awkward and I only tried two glasses over two days. I live for the good value 90 pointers. This missed by a mile. Stick with Pinot and zin from these folks. The other stuff doesn't hold up.
