June 13, 2010 - Consistent with previous bottle. Opened and sat in the bottle for 2 hours. Nose of oak and earth. Definite New Mexico terroir. Black cherry, dry, smooth, medium finish. Went nicely with spicy Mexican chicken, orzo, and quesadilla.

November 13, 2009 - Typical New Mexico earthy taste. Mostly front of the palate with short finish. Wouldn't pick this out as a cabernet sauvignon, but it is fun to try the different ways a varietal develops (and is manipulated) across the country.
