May 7, 2024 - During Meo Riche evening this for me was marginal WOTN ahead of 05 probably because it was the only wine that I found some alluring spice that night. It felt surpisingly fresh and refreshingly light for an 09 but of course had heft as one would expect. A beautiful bottle that in 5-10 years time could be a true stunner. Drink 2030+

March 25, 2023 - A really fantastic wine that just needs a few hours of air before serving. Sexy spice, flowers, coffee beans, smoked red fruit and herbs on the nose and palate. This is a complete Richebourg that has weight, dimension and complexity. It should outperform many DRC Richebourg. Wow. 95 now with another 1-2 point upside when it is fully mature.

November 19, 2022 - Maybe not the freshest bottle of this. Very secondary and while there was plenty of flavor, it wasn't all good. I'll chalk this one up to experience. Was expecting much more.

July 23, 2020 - In a Galaxy Far, Far Away - Richebourg ! (Vancouver, BC, Canada): Dark ruby colour in this low acid year. Subtle red currant nose with mid palate grip in spades, morphing into a ripe, tight tayberry finish. Very approachable at this juncture and threatening to be scrumptiously delicious. Silky and irresistible in this flight of rarefied superstars, with great aging potential as these clusters mostly derived from Veroilles au Richebourg, yet overall seems more like a les Richebourg origin ….considering the size of this balanced bruiser!

June 29, 2020 - Slow oxed for 5 hours before serving. The bouquet was irresistable with perfume, red currant, flowers, dates. Good sweetness on the palate but very balanced. Silky, lush and weightless. Superb. 96-97
