February 7, 2013 - A tale of two nights. Day 1 pnp'd. Great nose of dark black berries and olive tapenade. Nice balance, a little oaky, solid finish. Good value. Day 2. This turned into a sappy, oaky mess. I wouldn't be afraid to buy again, but wouldn't save any for the next day.

July 8, 2012 - Lots of fruit in a full bodied Cavernet. As close as it can be to it's mayor sibling Don Melchor.

March 30, 2012 - left decanting for 30 minuts. I believe it's now too mature. Probably, reached its peak 2 years ago. All fruit has gone and alcohol overcame.

June 16, 2011 - Colour dark red. Nose wonderful fruity. After decanting and aerating for 1 hour taste is progressively softening. Black fruit, chocolate and vanilla notes dominates the taste, which is nicely layered and continuing in the aftertaste. This is a very good glass of wine, giving much value for the money (20 $ sales price, ordinary price 27 $ - still worth the money ). If I should complain, I could suggest a bit more firm tannic touch.
