October 1, 2017 - From 37,5cl, perfect cork. Superb, knife-edge balance of edgy acidity and luscious, creamy, decadent, ultra-rich, botrytis-crowned Sauternes heaven. How can such a concentrated, super-sweet wine be so ethereally weightless? My last half-bottle, and by far the best yet. Now I look forward to broaching the first of my 50cl bottles. Good for at least 10-15 years. 93-94P

August 25, 2017 - Really singing. Beautiful high toned fruits and length. Pale golden, just beginning to show it's stuff. Danced on the palate. This was a great bottle. Look forward to seeing where this goes.

June 11, 2017 - Second Sunday Group: Chateau Montelena Cabernet (Non-Estate) Vertical, 2005-2012 (Our house): Wow this is killer stuff. From 750ml, courtesy of Frank. Light golden color with a wonderful bouquet of apricot, peach, marmalade, honey, tropical fruit and florals. Its rich and dense but at the same time almost racy- the acidity is fresh and lively. Impressive concentration of fruit. Long, balanced finish.

April 17, 2017 - Une demi-bouteille.

96 pts
