  June 9, 2013 - Dark purple. Nose of plums, chocolate and a faint hint of vanilla. Elegant and round with no hard edges. Great food wine.

  January 1, 2013 - Deep purple with a ruby rim. Lovely cherry nose with chocolate, dried plums and a hint of bananas. Velvety texture and mouthfeel. A very gentle, modern Rioja, drinking well now.

  May 14, 2012 - Weekly tasting group #029; A fully blind test. (@ RvD): At first a little barnyard which disappears quite quickly. There are also cherries and spices. On the palate cherries, raspberries laurel, vanilla, good acidity, tannin and pleasant oak. A bit of sweetness in the finish. Overall in all aspects a very mild wine.

  May 13, 2012 - A well-balanced modern style Rioja Crianza with spicy red and black fruit, coffee and spice flavors from oak ageing, rather low acidity, soft and integrated tannins and medium bod. Very nice daily quaffer and good QPR. Drinks well now. - 88 points
